At CAIT Hi-Ed, we are committed to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive environment where students feel supported and valued. If personal circumstances affect your ability to study or engage in learning, you will have access to clear information about the actions you can take, the staff you can contact, and the wide range of support services available — including counselling, health, wellbeing, advocacy and emergency assistance. Our staff are trained to respond with care and professionalism, ensuring every student has a safe and respectful environment in which to learn, grow and succeed
AIT Hi-Ed sets clear expectations for good academic practice and provides guidance to help you meet them. All students and staff must produce original work, acknowledge sources correctly, follow assessment rules (including any limits on collaboration or use of AI tools), and act with honesty throughout study and research. We support good practice through compulsory student induction on academic integrity, staff training, authentic assessment design, clear rubrics, required originality checks (e.g. Turnitin), and task-by-task declarations. When concerns arise, suspected misconduct is reviewed fairly and confidentially, with outcomes proportionate to the severity (from education and warnings to grade penalties or exclusion for serious or repeated breaches). You’ll always receive a written outcome and information about how to appeal. Our aim is educative first—helping you build the skills and judgement to uphold.
